The Young and the Restless Character History:
While in Myanmar in August 2011, Billy Abbott presumably met Chelsea at a bar she was working at. Months later, Billy requested that Cane Ashby go to Myanmar to find Chelsea in order to clear his name. When Cane found her, he didn’t realize that the woman he was talking to was actually Chelsea, and she evidently disappeared.

Billy returned to Genoa City and re-married his wife, Victoria Newman. On their honeymoon, Billy had flashbacks of his stay in Myanmar. He met Chelsea in a bar, giving her his alias name of “Liam”. He was extremely drunk, and she forced him to get off his bar stool to dance with her.

After being unseen for nearly two months, Chelsea arrived in Genoa City on New Year’s Eve and came to Billy and Victoria’s doorstep looking for “Liam”. Billy immediately realized who she was, and she accused him of forcefully having sex with her against her will, resulting in her pregnancy. She demanded a paternity test to prove her claim. After a DNA test, it was revealed that the father of her unborn baby is in fact Billy. Billy secretly recorded Chelsea admitting that their one night stand was consenual and that her rape claim was a con she used against tourists.

Billy and Victoria decided they would raise Chelsea’s baby as their own, and take Chelsea’s paternity rights away from her. They invited Chelsea to move in with them in the upstairs of their garage. Shortly after, just as Chelsea was ready to turn over all parental rights to Billy and Victoria, Chelsea’s mother, Anita, arrived and put a stop to it.
