Young and Restless character biography:

Heather Stevens is the daughter of Paul Williams and April Stevens. Paul and April were not a happy couple and only married when Heather became seriously ill. Paul tried doing the right thing by marring April, so that he could be there for his daughter. Heather made a surprising recovery, which ultimately led to Paul and April getting divorced.

April moved to New York City and took Heather with her. Paul was worried that Heather would forget him, but felt it was in her best interest to move with April.

Heather would return to Genoa City years later, all grown up. She began working at the District Attorney’s office. Paul tried to re-patch his relationship with his daughter, but her job and romance with Adam Newman continued to get in the way. But Adam soon self-destructed. He faced serious jail time for forging his father’s journal and made it seem that Victor had murdered Walter Palin. Eventually, Adam transferred out of prison and into the Newman Ranch on security lock down.

Heather broke up with Adam and completely washed her hands of him. She set her focus on her job, and even became the District Attorney for a while. She had brief romances with Daniel Romalotti, Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV, and his brother, Ronan Malloy.

Heather next began working on the Sharon Newman murder trial. She was going up against Avery Bailey Clark, which was no easy task. When it looked as if Adam Newman was on Heather’s side, he set her up and got her to kiss him and had it photographed by Heather’s own brother, Ricky, to use as a mistrial in Sharon’s case. However the photos were never used in court, as Phyllis Newman and Ronan found the memory card that Adam had trashed that proved Sharon was innocent. Sharon was set free.

Phyllis however, stole the photos from Ricky and Avery and published them to the Restless Style Magazine website. Heather was fired as an attorney and absolutely devastated. She decided to leave town and go back to New York with her mother for good. Before leaving, she told Paul goodbye and told him that Ricky had taken the pictures. Chance showed up just in time to take her to the airport.
